Though Dr. Kotlarz loves the surgery side of his practice, he also believes and explains to his patients how important it is to maintain ones youthful appearance. This is done by doing a little something every day. There are several ways to accomplish this: with cosmetic surgery, with facial rejuvenation such as fillers and Botox injections and also with good home care. Beauty begins with a beautiful skin.

Good home care may include facials, nightly …. and sometimes even laser treatments are of immense benefit. Keeping on skin protection such as a sun blocker or even wearing a hat are helpful. Keeping the sun directly off your face is high on his list of “dos” while baking your face in the hot Florida sun is a “no no”.

  • Women had 12.1 million cosmetic procedures, up 5% from 2010. 10.4 billion dollars was spent on cosmetic procedures in the U.S., up 2.95%.
  • What age range makes up the majority of procedures? The 40 to 54-year-old women make up a whopping 48% of all cosmetic procedures done. 
  • 6.4 million total cosmetic procedures by this age group.  That’s up 6%.
